BJD--L.A. Dolpa Photos--One-Offs

One-offs were set up on tables in one corner of the room. They were lovely, as always. But because of my car, I can't even think of putting in for one!

The boy is a Williams--he tempted me!... lovely pair...

Boy is a Tsukasa... one of the more appealing I've seen. Love this pair together, too...

Each person could try for the lotter to buy ONE. You write the name/number of the doll on your slip given to you in the membership packet. I think Volks will remove your name if you borrow someone else's slip and put in for more than one doll... The slips for the same doll are put in a bag and Mr. Shigeta draws the slip of paper and announces the name of the person. They get to go up to the front and are congratulated and then are led back to the cashier to pay for the doll, which will be packaged and able to be picked up later.

Blind bidding... I think the winner was around $2,500, to be matched by Volks and given to "To Make a Wish"--Just a wonderful thing to do! Giving to Charity and getting an amazing doll...!
