BJD--Elfdoll Store Christmas Party
I've been lazy about posting here... Back on Dec. 8th. Artmaze, the Elfdoll Store in Glendale, CA, had another party.
I love the piggy!!! If they keep selling them, someday I'll totally snap one up! This is one of the punky piggies dressed up for Christmas on display in the store.
The Party was from 2 to 6pm and there was already a small crowd setting up their dolls when I arrived. I love that the store welcomes all kinds of dolls. (This isn't a knock at Volks--I love them, too--but it's such a nice change, particularly since I don't have any Elfdolls!!!). When I walked in, I was given a santa hat, Yo-sized, since I was carrying my Bambicronys. Tucked in-side was a scratch-off lottery ticket! I heard that Ms Cholong and her husband sewed all the santa hats themselves! They had all sizes of hats, from SD-sized to ultra-tiny. It was so sweet. And of course there were the usual sodas and teas and cookies and snacks--they had all kinds of Pockys this time, which was great!
Owner-dolls--

Ms Cholong--always happy and friendly. She made some Elfdoll announcements--
These cute bunnies from Rainman were made before Pipos made Curo, but aren't in production because of Curo??? I think people wanted Rainman to change that decision, perhaps by sending begging emails??? They are very cute--I think they're the only ones in existence--
More owner-dolls--

I love this wig on this Mir!--

Cute pair of ballerinas!

My misty blue Kumi and slate gray Pepe, Snowdrop and Nightshade--
(hat on the left I bought at the Dolpa, hat on the right was the party gift!). I was lazy and didn't get them dressed in special Christmas outfits!
And lovely store decor--
The crowd wasn't as horrible as the very first Opening Party. It's been quite nice for the Halloween and this event. Time to talk, eat, take photos and do a bit of shopping! They started carrying J-pop wigs, and I bought one. If I'd won anything from the lottery ticket, I'd SO happily spend all my money at the store, unfortunately, no win!
It was another fun event--so sweet of the store to host these meetup/parties! ^____^
